Lap Pool

Our 2 lane lap pool was designed to accomodate lap swimmers and the many different stages of medically based needs.  Synergy provides space to Exeter Athleticare, Exeter Health Resources out patient rehabilitation program.  Our lap pool is 25 yards in length and maintains a constant temperature between 82-84 degrees.

    Parent & Child Swimming Lessons

    A great opportunity to introduce your child to the pool environment in a fun and friendly atmosphere.  Classes are designed to build your child's confidence in the water and teach water safety to parents & guardians.  For more information about our classes, go to our Parent & Child Swimming Lessons page.

    Ai Chi

    Continue your Ai Chi exercise after you have completed 6 weeks of Beginner Ai Chi.

    Aqua Aerobics

    Exercises are performed primarily in a vertical (standing up) position in the water. The vertical exercises use movements that amplify drag by unstreamlining the body to create resistance. Resistance equipment may be used.

    Aqua Aerobics/Ai Chi

    This class may include aerobic work, swimming skills (using efficient propulsion horizontally), resistance training with equipment, core training and Ai Chi.

    Aqua Express

    45 minutes of challenging aerobic work in the water and increased intensity of resistance.

    Basic Water Rescue

    BWR is instructed in sessions. BWR will provide you with the information and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. Successful course completion requires that participants attend all classroom sessions, demonstrate each skill taught in the course and correctly answer at least 80 percent of the questions in the final written exam. You will receive an American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue certificate that is valid for 3 years.

    Masters Swim

    The workout is similar to the United States Masters Swim program. Swimmers, of all levels, should be able to swim 100 yards (2 laps) freestyle without stopping.

    This is a "Specialty Program" for members & non-members.

    Open & Pool Maintenence

    Pool is Open for lap swimming while cleaning of the deck & surfaces may be occuring.

    Open Swim

    Private Swim Lessons may be occurring in Lane 2 during open swim

    1. When entering a lane please alert other members to your presence.
    2. Only use the lift, stairs or pool ladders to enter/exit the water. If using the lift, please alert other members in the lane so they do not bump you or the lift. Please leave lift in the up position
    3. Equipment may be used during Open Swim. Please put equipment back where it belongs to help keep our pool area organized.
    4. LANE 1: Two members may split LANE 1. When more than two members are in LANE 1 Circle Swimming is required.
    5. LANE 2: Circle Swimming or Circle Walking is required in LANE 2. Always stay to the right of the lane. 6.When behind a slow swimmer or walker, pass by them on the left or cut across the middle and reverse your direction in the lane.

    Water Walking

    Walking movements performed in a traveling mode, utilizing a variety of muscle groups.

  •  

    Water Walking Plus

    Walking or Jogging movements performed in either a stationary or traveling mode, utilizing a variety of muscle groups. Resistance equipment may be used.

    Motherwell Water Fitness

    A water fitness program designed to meet the special health & fitness needs of expectant and new moms.  This is part of a two class per week program (one yoga and one in the pool).
