• Relaxation Massage

  A combination of massage strokes are used to increase circulation and lymphatic flow while decreasing overall stress and relaxing muscle tissue. CranioSacral or Reiki may also be integrated into this massage to further enhance your state of relaxation. Aromatherapy is used during this massage.

  Highly specialized aggressive muscle therapy. Deep pressure is used to reduce muscle spasm and relieve chronic pain. An important body care component for the avid athlete, anyone suffering from chronic stress or pain, or those who receive massage frequently.

• Maternity Massage (50 Minutes - 1st and 2nd Trimester)

  Designed to relax the mother-to-be from the first to third trimester. This massage relieves muscle strain on lower back, legs, and feet and reduces strain on weight bearing joints. Pregnancy massage also helps to maintain muscle tone in preparation for labor and delivery. The use of pillows and various positioning techniques allow the mother-to-be full relaxation. NOTE: Prior to scheduling this massage, clients must pick up a release form from the Synergy front desk. This form needs to be filled out by her obstetrician or health care provider and brought in for her initial session.

• Infant Massage (50 Minutes Only)

  One to one teaching parent(s) and infant a full protocol of strokes for relaxation, relief of colic and gas, and body awareness. Please bring extra diaper, blanket, towel and a favorite toy for baby.

• REIKI (Pronounced "Ray-Key")

  This ancient Japanese style of bodywork is based on the concept that healing within the body can occur by working in combination with the client_ s emotional, mental and spiritual levels. This gentle and non-invasive type of bodywork leaves one feeling utterly relaxed and can be done fully clothed.

• Sports Massage (25 Minutes Only)

  A combination of stretching, compression and gliding techniques are used to help the body release lactic acid buildup. Great for pre and post events or in conjunction with your training schedule. Helps to improve performance and recovery time.

  A client can pay for a massage using cash, check, credit card or gift certificate at the time of the appointment. Appointments can be canceled with no charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Payment is charged in full for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
  
  Gift certificates must be presented at time of massage or the appointment will need to be paid for using cash, check or charge.
  
  If you plan to work out prior to your massage session please allow plenty of time to use the showers before your massage session.
