Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Below are answers to some of the Frequently Asked Questions we receive.
Please call us at 603-778-6777 if we can be of more assistance.

  • Do I need a referral from my doctor to join Synergy?

No, Synergy is open to the public. We are a subsidiary of Exeter Health Resources and we provide a unique medically based approach to health and wellness.

  • What are the membership rates for Synergy?

We have several membership options available to you. Please contact us at (603)778-6777 to learn more about these options. We can help create a membership package that’s just right for you. We offer free tours of our facility at your convenience.

  • Do I have to join for 12 months?

No, you can join on a month-to-month basis that requires a 30-day written request to cancel.

  • Do I have to pay for the whole year in advance?

No, you may pay for your membership each month via automatic withdrawal from your checking account or credit card.  We accept all major credit cards!

  • What happens if I get sick or injured after I join?

Because many of our members join with a pre-existing condition, we have a "freeze policy" that allows you to freeze the membership for medical reasons for a minimum of 30 days.

  • Can I still join if I have a medical condition such as heart disease?

All Synergy members fill out a short medical history form upon joining. Your responses determine if we need to have a medical clearance from your physician prior to your starting a program of exercise. Because we are medically based, we are able to provide classes and programming even for those members with pre-existing conditions. For some members, our cardiac wellness classes are a good option because they're monitored by staff from Exeter Hospital's cardiac wellness department.
